Well, I didn’t exactly make it outside today… But I took a photo of the embroidered thimble sewn by my Nana’s sister and given to me as a wedding gift that’s currently hanging in our apartment. Nana and her sister (both former seamstresses) were amazing and made my wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, matching ties for the boys, and a purse to match my dress!
This was the only object from my wedding that I brought overseas with me, and I love seeing it - it’s made from the same silk fabric as my dress was, and it’s so artfully made.
