This little butterfly was hanging out in the middle of a busy walk/cycle path on my walk into town this morning. I didn’t have time to stop and move it, but I hoped that it would fly off on it’s own.
Nearly an hour later on my way back the little guy was still there, so I snapped a quick photo and was able to coax it onto my finger without much trouble. The butterfly seemed a bit sluggish, and sat there patiently as I moved towards some plants in a sunny spot nearby… but as soon as I went to take another photo it batted it’s wings and flew off!
TL;DR saving a butterfly from possible doom is a nice way to start the morning. (Taken with Instagram at Riverwalk, Brisbane)
