In the process of moving overseas, I packed my iMac up and checked it in as excess baggage on my flight over. I was quite worried that it might not arrive in one piece/at all… and so, in my very sleep deprived state I figured that sticking a picture and note to the box would somehow protect it. It said:
Hi! Please take good care of my iMac, I need it for work :) Thankyou! @heykimby
Apparently, it worked, because the gods of baggage left a note in reply:
We did… Great choice… Enjoy your new baby…
For accuracy, my iMac isn’t all that new, but it is probably the closest thing I have to a baby right now. Honestly, I didn’t think anyone was even going to see the note, and when I saw the reply I was so happy to see that someone actually cared about the wellbeing of my luggage enough to wish me well. Consider my day made, baggage crew!
